Here he goes into further detail regarding the implications of the multiple universe theory in physics. He also describes tachyons – particles that travel faster than the speed of light. These are contrasted with tardyons – particles that travel slower than the speed of light. While tachyons have not yet been observed experimentally, he maintains that they are implicit in the description of the Higgs field that is now well-accepted in physics. The Higgs field, sometimes associated with the “God Particle,” is – according to theoretical physics – the reason why mass exists at all in the physical universe. The implication of this world view is that we are each receiving information from the future as well as from the past.
